비트코인과 유사한 '분산 원장' 원리를 원시적 형태로 구현했던 얍 섬의 돌 화폐, 래이 스톤을 소개합니다.

래이 스톤(Rai Stones) 얍(Yap)이라고 불리는 남태평양 섬의 거주자들은 거대한 돌을 돈으로 사용했습니다. '래이 스톤' 또는 '페이 스톤'이라고 불리는 이 돌들은 중앙에 구멍이 있는 원형 원반 형태였으며, 지름이 몇 인치에서 10피트가 넘는 것까지 다양한 크기가 있었습니다.
